Bonjour, fabulous Flossie - We were at a concert (Andy Fairweather Low & his Big Band) at Lowdham last Saturday and discovered that you will be performing there again on 8 October. Fortunately, there were still six tickets available, so we'll be there! We've missed having you in the East Midlands. Earlier this year you sent us those of your albums that we didn't have at that time, so we now have a full set (all 13) and they get played a lot. There's such variety in your repertoire that we find something new each time we play any of your CDs - magnificently mint! With warm greetings - a bientot.
Dear Flossy, We are listening to you as I write (The girl form Ipanima)... We met and saw you in Bridport a few years back, had a fantastic evening, baught two of your albums and have been hoping for you would to come back ever since...!!! We miss you Flossie you ARE ONE OF THE BEST. Could you please come back before 2020 or please let us be first on your list in 2021? Wishing you a fantastic sabbatical time Lots of love, P.S Unforgatable is playing now and that's what you are! XXXX Francoise and David
Just back home from a BRILLIANT gig in Chesterfield. Superb, so talented, so entertaining...thank you
Flossie - how do you fancy coming back to France to wow the population of our small village in the Aude in the grounds of the chateau for their summer fete? We have met a couple of times in Winchelsea and talked about the possibility. We have just spoken to the mayor and played him one of your CDs and he was quite understandably most impressed!!!
Without a doubt you, Flossie made a resounding success of thrilling the guests at my birthday party today. Those not having heard you before have been wowed by your voice. You have a new legion of fans here in York. Your banter with my friends was just right, combining musical performance with entertainment. Continue the good work pleasing people and making them happy. We love you Flossie. Thank you for today.. Martin and Chris
Thank you for a lovely evening at FALDINGWORTH. Really enjoyed the variety, especially Piaff and Portuguese ad lib !
Hi Flossie, just to say, that we too throughly enjoyed your “Dark Horses” set with Keith for the first time at last month’s Lichfield L2F, (c/w with, great singing, great playing and great overall sound & plenty of banter from both sides of the speakers, left and right!), it was all superb. The CDs arrived safely today, thank you for those as well, I know they will be enjoyed. Continued success to you both wherever, and hopefully we’ll see you again on your return to this neck of the woods, whenever. Cheers Jim & Anne.
We loved your Dark Horses act with Keith at Lichfield Folk Festival. Unusual to have one half of the act performing the warm-up for the double-act! Great music, fabulous playing and powerful yet beautifully controlled signing. The CD isn't bad either!
Hi Flossie, I loved your singing and entertainment at Ely Folk Festival! What a beautiful voice and also, your joy at France winning (so far) in World Cup was palpable! I could have listened to you all night......so pleased that France won. Wish you did more gigs in East Anglia but may make the journey up North to see you. Thank you for all the anecdotes/tales - e.g. Vin not driving / left hand car, it was all so well told! Carol
Hello Flossie We thoroughly enjoyed seeing you at Ely Folk Festival. Great that France won! 🏆Get In! We moved from Saltburn 5 years ago so were able to go to your gigs a lot more than now. Also had very positive reactions from friends who had not seen you before. Thank you for singing one of Vin’s songs. He is missed so much. All the very best Jenny Terry

A fine night of fine songs and singing last night at Dartford Folk Club and thanks for honouring Vin garbutt so poignantly with your closing song - Vin's ' Morning informs on my dreaming ' . Safe travels Joe Whittaker
hi flossie welcome to dartford we look forward to seeing and saying hello to you tonight
Hi Flossie It was lovely to meet you last night. You have a lovely voice and a great personality. I love your North East accent, made me feel quite at home!
Hi Flossie, Just found out about your website via facebook! Impressive!! Iv'e just been looking through your "gig list", and i see that you are in Portugal for 1 week in october this year. Where in Portugal is this "Folk Club" Flossie? I used to go there twice a year when i had a timeshare in Villamoura, and got to know a lot of nice people in that area. I'm seriously thinking of having a week there in October, and hoping to catch up with you at one of your concerts! In the meantime, take care. Henry.
Hi, Flossie Thanks for a smashing night at Shaw Playhouse 2. We all enjoyed it very much. Hope we see again soon in this area. Best Regards, Peter and Sharron. (The crochet lady).
Hi Flossie, met and was entertained by you on the 27 August at the 50th wedding anniversary of our dear friends Susan and David in Bingely. We so enjoyed you I bought one of your soundtracks 'Flossie sings Brel'. We are back home in Cape Town, and I have your CD playing repeatedly in my car... I just love it, so much so I could kick myself for not buying the other soundtrack/s 'Flossie sings Piaf' and/or 'Enchante'. I am really, really keen to get at least one of those soundtracks and see your site says delivery is free, BUT to South Africa? With great appreciation, Dianne
Your concert at the Black Door in Brussels was a true delight. The songs, the repartee, and the reflections on how to write - or speak - clearly! Familiar songs, new songs, et des chansons françaises. I hope I will have another chance to attend a concert, whether in Newcastle, NÎmes, or Neverland!
Hi Flossie I'm still enjoying watching the videos take of you at the Costa del Folk. I haven't listened to the cds I bought yet as I'm saving them for a long journey I'm making on Friday. Next time you have some nite cards printed I think you should change your description to read singer/guitarist/entertainer. I look forward to the next time I have the pleasure of being entertained by you. April
Hi, Flossie I see you are at a folk festival in Cleckheaton on 1st. July. Any possibility of dropping into York on the way back to do an hour at a private 70th birthday party and what's your fee? (Just to hear you sing "Mendocino" even better than the McGarrigle sisters!
